    2. I t was addition to the series and I would have given it 4 stars but there was one bug reason I did not The ending It was too clean , concise and fast It was too tide and I don t feel they would have got off so easy It was good and I say read it.

    3. As a fan of this series I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled across this somewhat recent addition, which when published, 2010 , slipped below my radar The good news is that the old gang is back the bad news, Perfect Alibi is by far the weakest addition to the adventures of Mike Daley and Rosie Fernandez. The author connects two threads we readers of legal thrillers are very familiar with first the murder of a judge whose personal life doesn t fare well under the not so deep scrutiny of the [...]

    4. Another very good legal thriller in Sheldon Siegel s, Perfect Alibi , the seventh of his Daley Fernandez series As with previous six, This series features Mike Daley and Rosie Fernandez who are law partners, divorced from each other and the parents of two children together Grace Fernandez Daley, now 16, and little brother Tommy who is now 4 Daughter Grace has grown up throughout this incredible series In this thriller we find Grace s boyfriend Bobby Fairchild arrested for murder The recent high [...]

    5. This is the 7th in the series featuring Mike Daley and Rosie Fernandez, who once were married but now share a law practice, a teenage daughter and a just past toddler son clearly, a bit of hanky panky has gone on after the divorce It is the teenager, though, who is the focus of this story Her boyfriend has been arrested, charged with murdering his father, a prominent judge The kid swears he s innocent, and he and Mike and Rosie s daughter Grace swear they were together when the murder took place [...]

    6. This rating is relative to the other books in the Mike Daley series by Sheldon Siegel I first found this series several years ago when I was traveling to San Francisco and wanted to read a good novel set in the city I ve since read the entire series seven in total and I ve enjoyed each of them However, I m sad to say that I was a little disappointed in this latest installment There s nothing particularly wrong with the book on its own, but compared to the others in the series, this one felt a li [...]

    7. Mike Daley, San Francisco s favorite lawyer, is back with his ex wife law partner Rosie Fernandez This time the case hits a bit too close to home for their tastes a federal judge with a less than stellar reputation ends up dead and Bobby, their daughter Grave s boyfriend, is accused of killing him the judge is bobby s dad Things go along swimmingly well until right near the end, when all sorts of facts are revealed and lies are discovered I usually love Sheldon Siegel s books, but once the big r [...]

    8. PloddingI have read the entire series, although I wonder why The world s greatest cop always rushes to an arrest after having done little investigation The two main lawyers run around doing the work of the incompetent SFPD Their client is sympathetic, but essentially flawed There is ALWAYS a reason for a speedy trial They always work around the clock and their performance never suffers All of these things add up to boring And someone should really proofread these novels.

    9. I started with this book, the first one, and have almost read them all Not necessarily in order. There are so many thing I like about his writingThe books read fast and are easy to remember who the characters are and story line so easy to go back to a stopping place I really like the asides in Mike s dialogue I have 3 to read and hope he writes

    10. Mike Daley and Rosie Fernandez, who used to be married and now share a law firm, have a 16 year old daughter Mike cannot believe she has grown so fast and feels he is starting to lose her Now she even has a boyfriend, Bobby, whom they consider to be a very nice boy, the son of a Superior Court judge Imagine their shock when they learn that he has been accused of murdering his father To the authorities, there is no doubt that he did it after finding him holding the murder weapon and his bloody cl [...]

    11. Excellent read This time, Grace and her boyfriend are in trouble, he for being accused of killing his father, and she for possibly lying to be his alibi As always, I love all the characters My favourite is Pete, the PI who s Mike s younger brother I also love Roosevelt, Kaela Joy, and, of course, Mike and Rosie I missed Nick the Dick in this story The plot is tightly woven, and I was pulling for the kids, but what I love about these books is they don t pull punches The kids behave as real ones o [...]

    12. Teenagers, you never know what they are doing when they are out of you sight As usual this is another home run book for a very excellent word smith When you read a Sheldon Siegel book, it s one you have a hard time putting it down when it s time to go to bed I have followed Mike And Rosie thru the first 7 books now and they have all been spell binders, but they may have been in trouble without the help of Mikes brother the fabulous PI Pete I hope as many folks who enjoy reading lawyer based stor [...]

    13. I am a unapologetic fan of Sheldon Siegel and the Daley Fernandez series This particular story is multi dimensional and had me thoroughly engaged from start to finish The ending is a little sappy, but I won t let that tarnish the excellently crafted plot involving their daughter and her boyfriend who got caught up in a lie that almost landed them in jail As always, I enjoyed the courtroom drama and there is plenty available in Perfect Alibi.

    14. Makes you worry if he did itMost of this book let s you worry if Bobby killed his father It arrives at a speedy conclusion and gives you the answer Rosie and Mike are busy trying to save people but what about their own family Too fast children are grown.

    15. Good, but cuts close to home in than one wayThis is a good continuation of the book series It seemed like a shorter than normal story, but the way it was written probably had in it than some folks would like to read or think about.

    16. FinishedHaving already read Felony Murder Rule I am finished with the series I will miss reading about the exploits of Mike,Rosie,Pete,Roosevelt,Grace, and Sylvia It was great fun following them On to new adventures.

    17. Final Installment in the seriesI ve read all the books in the series and have thoroughly enjoyed them Nothing predictable here Edge of seat reading

    18. Another excellent legal thriller from Sheldon SpiegelMike and Rosie are at it again this time defending their daughter s boyfriend from a murder charge No spoilers here , this is all first chapter stuff Grace becomes a material witness in the case and the family dynamic that plays out is tense but interesting I enjoyed this book thoroughly from start to finish It s tensely plotted and eminently believable If you like to Mr Siegel s other works, then this book will please you very much If you hav [...]

    19. Series of 8This is the best book series I ve read in a long time, I don t want them to End Please start writing , I will read them all

    20. Perfect AlibiAnother well written story Mr Siegel is definitely a very good teller of stories His stories are interesting, with twist and turns that take you by surprise It is easy to stay interested in his stories.

    21. Oh how I ve needed a good attorney crime thriller The Perfect Alibi was my first book by Sheldon Siegel, and I was truly impressed His experience as an attorney helped make this novel extremely realistic and enjoyable to read On the eve of Bobby s 18th birthday, he was arrested for murdering his father Bobby s only witness was Grace, whose involvement prompted her father, attorney Mike Daley, to defend Bobby of the crime Though Mike wanted to believe Grace when she professed Bobby s innocence, M [...]

    22. I ve just finished reading Perfect Alibi by Sheldon Siegel and now I m attempting to write its review Unfortunately for me, I m having some trouble with that No, it s not because I m suffering from writer s block I m just at a loss for words because the only thing running through my head right now is Wow, what a great book Just for the record, heaping praise on a book isn t my customary starting point in a review Perfect Alibi by Sheldon Siegel is the seventh installment in the Mike Daley Myster [...]

    23. Mike Daley and his law partner ex wife Rosie Fernandez have a particularly daunting task Their client is accused of murdering his father, a prominent judge and his perfect alibi is that he was with their daughter at the time Although I find the premise that they would take on this conflict of interest case somewhat dubious, I do enjoy this series for the wonderful San Francisco setting, and the great, witty dialog The main characters, with all their faults and strengths are old friends by now.

    24. Once again Sheldon Siegel has given us a fast paced, well developed mystery legal thriller featuring by now beloved characters Daley and Fernandez and assorted family members and colleagues I so enjoy these interesting situations and well defined characters and I ve read all seven so far This one takes on an even intense family component and it s certainly worth reading Recommend it.

    25. Kept me up late and got me up earlyThis is the first of Siegel books I ve read but it won t be the last.Right away I felt I d come to know the characters and the story s pace was perfect It s one of those books you don t want to put down but when you do the plot and the characters stay with you so you aren t having to review and go back to remind yourself who is whom and what is what. There were just enough plot twists to keep me guessing.

    26. Perfect Alibi is the seventh and last book in the Mike Daley Rosie Fernandez mystery series This time the story centers around the murder of a prominent San Francisco Judge who happens to be the father of the boy Mike and Rosie s daughter Grace is dating Fast paced with serious investigation work and courtroom drama, this is one of the best books in the series Hope there will be on the way.

    27. This is like 3 and a half stars maybe the best of the series so far looks like there s another one coming soon Maybe because I ve read them all in a relatively short window I find the books to have a lot of repetition from one to another although Nick is missing from this one And i think these two need to find a better set of friends and family as their current group seems to always find themselves somehow linked to high profile murders.

    28. Never read him before and won t again even though his other books may be better Was this dreamed up as a cautionary tale for the author s children The parenting was pathetic before and after the truth came out The grandmother and the boyfriend s mother were also pieces of work As a huge fan of teenagers and their potential, nothing makes me as furious as the legion of not my child parents even the fictional ones.

    29. Another legal thriller from Sheldon Siegel I had a hard time putting it down at night When Mike Daley s daughter is the alibi for her boyfriend in the death of his father who becomes unlikable as the book goes on , Mike and Rosie set out to clear him But his daughter and boyfriend are not telling him everything and it points to their guilt.

    30. This book like the six previous ones was exceptional It was difficult to put it down and I look forward to the next book You do not need to read them in order but I cannot recommend all of these books enough.
