    1. Jameson Parker was a working actor for over a quarter of a century While he has appeared in countless movies, television movies, and plays, he is best known for his role as A.J one half of the team of Simon Simon, the long running hit television series in the 80s.Jameson has been a freelance writer for the past twenty years As an actor turned author he is unique, because his work has appeared in such a wide range of outdoor magazines, including Gray s Sporting Journal, Sports Afield, Western Horseman, Ranch Reata, Ducks Unlimited, and many others Currently he writes regular columns for Sporting Classics and Texas Sporting Journal. He lives on a small ranch in the mountains of California with two rescue dogs, three rescue cats, and an ever changing number of horses down to two, at the moment. The above paragraph used to be accurate, but due to a major horse wreck you can read about it on my website in series of blogs lumped together under the heading Fistfuls of Balloons which ultimately resulted in eight hours and a quarter of a million dollars worth of spinal surgery, I can no longer ride and we have sold all our horses and the ranch The proportion of dogs and cats has also shifted, being now two cats and three dogs Since two of the dogs are Australian shepherds, we are still very, very busy. You can read about his books on Jameson Parker He is married to the actress and singer Darleen Carr.

    2. It s again the characters I love Two different people out of two absolutely contrary worlds find out that they ve got a lot in common about their attitude towards the real values in life I don t want to tell too much of it but I can say it s compelling from the beginning by the complexity of the characters The author manages to combine a thrilling plot with romance and even political criticism in his own unique way of telling it Don t miss to read it NW

    3. There s nothing Harlequin Romance about this book It s not campy or disingenuous or shallow It s a vivid depiction of a man who s trying desperately to hold onto the past and a woman who s trying ineffectively to escape it And through it all runs Parker s realistic depiction of life in the West Nothing is contrived or inexplicable When Parker outfits his heroine with gun and holster, you feel her chagrin When he sets her astride a horse for the first time in years, you tremble alongside her the [...]

    4. Held my breathhoping the ending would turn out good and it did A really good story with a cowboy who literally rides to the rescue.

    5. Great book.I really enjoyed this book It s well written and flows smoothly I read An Accidental Cowboy a long time ago, and didn t know Jameson was still writing I m glad he is.
