    1. Barry Morley Joseph Callaghan is a Canadian author, poet and anthologist He is currently the editor in chief of Exile Quarterly He is the son of late Canadian novelist and short story writer, Morley Callaghan.

    2. Callaghan, the son of Morley, rakes open the minds and souls of a panoply of broken people old Jews, Italian hoods, imperfect priests and shattered Blue Berets he knows his territory.

    3. These short stories are mostly dark That in itself is OK, but I m not sure for what purpose Most are haunting in their imagery I d like to say that they re thought provoking I suppose some are but, haunting imagery aside, I was left not caring about most of the characters.
