This one gets about 2.5 stars It was a little better The reason why I enjoyed this is because of Terry She was such a great character She was selfless and passionate, and had issues controlling her temper because of how deeply she felt I liked reading through her eyes Jake was also a good character The story itself was a little better than the other ones The love story was less cheesy, but there were definitely some cheesy parts I face palmed whenever I read certain lines This love story also h [...]

Lovely light little book Read it in about two sittings Although I haven t read the previous books this was no hindrence to enjoying the title on it s own I felt a real kinship with the Terry Slightly fool hardy and quick to jump into situations without first assessing them But her kind heart and determination shine through.Meanwhile Dr Jake Landsdowne, a character from Terry s past, has enough mystery about him to want to find out He s both aloof and fiercely loyal to Terry, even when she doesn [...]

    4. Paramedic Terry Flannigan came back to Suffolk after a tragedy in Philadelphia Dr Jake Landsdowne was also affected by this tragedy, now in Suffolk as well, the try to work together on a migrant workers clinic.

    5. This book was kind of cute but overall not the greatest I had a real problem with the way the characters were connected from the past.

    6. First book I ve read by Marta Perry Very much enjoyed this heartwarming fictional Christian tale of a family in rural Pennsylvania.
